Do you know about the Trans Alaska Pipeline? It is located in the North
Slope field of Alaska all the way to Valdez. This is a pipeline built by humans. The
Trans Alaska Pipeline was built in the 1970s after oil was discovered in Prudhoe
Bay in 1968. The purpose was to get oil from the North Slope to oil tankers in
Valdez. Did you know the Trans
Alaska Pipeline is 800 miles? Also
it is 48 inches in diameter. It also cost 8 billion dollars to build. Wouldn’t
it be fun to see the Trans Alaska Pipeline?
